Old Country Store.
Here are the two lists I always reference for fabric stores in Lancaster:

http://www.quiltart.com/lancaster.html
I've also enjoyed shopping at Sauder's.
The OCS is my favorite also. ;-)

Maybe you can get a church group or a quilting group to get enough for a bus road trip fund raiser...here in NJ, it seems though, all of the bus tours go to the casinos(groan)...I am in Cumberland Co. Are you anywhere near there? (let me know if you are and do get a bus trip together...my friend and I would also like to go)...Naomi

I was at "The Old Country Store" two weeks ago. It was my first visit and I must admit that the fabrics, quilts and kits were beautiful. I got out of there with a bundle of fat quarters and a redwork pattern book. Also had my hubbie with me. I'll get back there again soon because we frequently go camping in that area. Sometimes we just go out for the day. Great place.

I'm headed there on Friday! I was there a month or so ago and bought what I THOUGHT was enough fabric for a new project. Alas, no. So now I HAVE to go back! Going with a quilting buddy. There's a couple of places mentioned here in other threads (Obie's being one) that I want to check out this time. We won't have as many time constraints on this time. Looking forward to it. And hopefully I can figure out just how much more fabric I need this time. Plus find some backing. I'm doing a log cabin in 2 fabrics (gold/black) for a friends son for graduation next year. Saw some Christmas fabric at my LQS that might work for backing but I think I'll have more selection and better prices in Lancaster.

I was there on Saturday, introduced my newbie quilter sister to Zook's, Country Store and Sauders. There is a new shop a little bit down the road from Country Store, Bitty something, that I haven't been to yet. Always great choices of fabrics and each store and the prices can't be beat. Been to Obie's once, not for anyone that is claustrophobic, LOL! May in Jersey
