Omg, all these blocks are making this swap awfully tempting, lol! Each of is eye candy.

Judith your third one is very pretty too. What fun fabrics you have to work with.

Love patriotic quilts and this is very tempting. Does each set have to be a different pattern?

AnnieQuilts, I imagine it would get boring making 20 of the exact same block. I've never had anyone ask me that before. I think it would probably be better to mix in a couple of different patterns. (Just to help in not receiving doubles of the same block.)

Took awhile but, I finally was able to figure out how to make my 7 in block into a 12 in block. first try it came out 20 inches. Hopefully I can get two more sets done. have them cut out and ready to sew. I hate 13 hour shifts.

I need to read all instructions first. After cutting out over 120 rectangles 4 1/2 x 2 and 4 1/2 by 1 1/4 I could have sewn the strips together and then cut my 2 in and then the 1and 1/4th ones. Much faster then cutting separate and then sewing all those little rectangles back together. the third set of 4 blocks. It took the first block before I remembered to sew my strips together and then cut.

Of course, I have 4 of each and am working on more!

Great blocks jclinganrey. I've never seen those made before. Very cool.

So, I know I said I would be unable to join this swap....but every time I am in a store I pick up more patriotic fabric! Also, it was so much fun to put together my Summertime Quilt that I wanted to do it again. And then the fun blocks on this thread made me jump back in! So, Judith1005 - please sign me up.

Here is a peak at one of the fabrics I picked up this week. I love it!

Judith, I am thinking of joining but just not for sure if I have the time I will be finishing up my star blocks this coming week and will try to work on some patriotic blocks but I will definitely let you know before the deadline on the 10th of May. I am loving all the blocks that I have seen so far.
