I better get busy here. Been working on show quilts and my DQ that I have not gotten anything else done except canning those vegetables. Will get to work on these now. Found my background, white with snowflakes, now to decide for sure what to do. Red you put me down for snow scenes? Do I still have to stick to those. I will embroidery one set or do you want me to send in four sets of four different scenes? What does everyone else want? I have embroider snowmen that are cute with a red sashing around to make them different size thand the 6.5" Want to be sure there is larger blocks as well as smaller. Any suggestions?

No quiltermomma... You may make whatever you wish. I think I just put what you had asked me to. But, no matter. Have fun and don't worry about it. This is a fun block making party! LOL!

I am sure your blocks will be wonderful. The sizes and the pictures or settings are all up to you.

You can make the 6 1/2 block and if anyone wants a larger clock they can add the strip to suit their layout. This would help you to finish them quicker. What you have looks great whereas I would do a variety if I had the designs and like most embroiderers I do have designs.

I do have the designs, but some of them have already been posted so I do not want to duplicate if possible. I love the redwork designs of the snowmen I have and would do the landscape ones in a bold blue for the cold look. Will look again. Thanks.

Hi fellow swappers.... I have decided to make a holiday quilt with my blocks. Have 6 left from Halloween, will have 12 from Winter swap, I will make 6 blocks for Valentine swap, then there is Easter for which I would make 12 blocks. Now that leaves "Yhe Old Turkey", St Patrick and "4th of July, plus...."a Happy Birthday to Me". While I am at it I will include some family photos in the quilt, like my mom, dad, 3 brothers, GP both side, a few friemds, cousins and other relatives. Not only sounds like fun but will probably have to expand to two quilts, one for my GD who with her 2 babies live with me.
I will need one quilt for my DD who would have sone secial pics included in hers of her DH. his 2 kids. college and whatever You can take heed here that this is to be my projects for 2012. Also I intend for all my future blocks to be 6in, 9in or 12im ,mostly 12IN. I do not like the little blocks unless they are built into a big quilt blocks..Any ideas are welcome from you all.
