I am so looking forward to getting my trade back. the pictures of the batiks so far have been so beautiful. I'm afraid I missed the boat when I picked out my batiks to swap. I didn't send "festive" mine are more "restive". I hope this is okay with everyone and who ever receives my squares will like them.
Thanks so much Luv for hosting this swap. I hope I am able to join in with the next one.

Well you have two months for the holidays and time to catch up, then January 2011 I will begin the monthly 2011 swaps. I really like the 10 inch blocks. Lots of posibilities with that size squares. Plus they are easier to swap than the five inch charms. So I think 2011 will be 10.5 inch squares. I haven't decided what theme or fabrics it should be yet so keep a look out cause after Christmas I'll post luvtooquilts first swap of 2011. Let me know when you guys get your packages!! Happy quilting!!!!

    Oohh, I can hardly wait!!

Here is a suggestion for a future swap: Large-scale florals. I fell in love with this quilt, and want to do one, but it has been slow going collecting enough different fabrics:

That quilt is georgeos! Did I spell that right? I have sent for that pattern although it will be after Christmas before I can even think of starting. A large flower swap would be perfect!

For some reason I'm not recieving my posts from this thread! I'm SO glad I checked to see what was going on! Nope, I didn't hit "unwatch"either...just an error I reckon. But anyway!! I am very happy to hear I'll be getting the package soon! I'm in for the next swap for sure!! No matter what the theme is! I love the large print florals idea! I wouldn't mind something oriental but I'm game for whatever!!

Mine aren't all that fetive either but boy howdy they sure are pretty just like YOURS are too I'm sure!! Put it like this, if you didn't like the print and think it was pretty you wouldn't had gotten it in the first place...So...you're still a winner!! I'll be glad to get one of yours!!
Thanks Momma K....that is very nice of you to say....and you are right, I really liked the ones that I picked out...lol I dont think anyone could pick fabric out because they "didn't " like it....that is just fundementally WRONG....lol I would be happy to get some of your squares too! Ooooohhhhh I am excited!
Thank YOU! I would have responded sooner but just found this today on the 5th! For some reason I haven't been getting posts from this thread! But you're right, there is no way you can just pick out the wrong fabric! HA! By the way, I love your babies in your avitar!
