1st quilt cut and finally paired up. Holy cow that was hard. The next one will be the darker colors and blues. Should be easier, fingers crossed. Hope to sew later this week. Hopefully I can get some good pics. ;)

I found a Civil War Cot Quilt pattern and am using it to go by to make an unequal nine patch with my Civil War Repros. It will be for my older brother.

My latest issue of American Patchwork Quilting (?I think thats the magazine!?) had a very easy pattern using print rectangles and white squares, using the 1930's fabrics. So I am going to use that easy pattern to make a quilt for my husbands 16 y/o autistic neice. I think she will adore the 1930's fabrics! And I need to have that one completely done by Thanksgiving. :)

I will not be able to mail my package today. I just learned that my SIL's granddaughter was killed over the weekend in a 4-wheeler accident. She was 14, the same age as one grandson and my granddaughter.
Will mail package in the next day or so.
