I always wanted to see what one of these clear plastic Christmas bulbs would look like with the trimmings from my quilt blocks. This one is from all the trimmings from the triangle squares above. I always try to square up before I put my blocks together. Especially since I usually cut them a touch bigger. I think it will look pretty with a ribbon at the top in the same trimmings as the scraps.

I think it is a cute idea and fun. My previous quilt guild used to have a gift swap in December. These ornaments would be a hit.

ok, This block is more of a deep cherry red, and not primary red. The camera really distorted it.

I loved these vintage postcard liberty fabrics. My fabric only gave me one of each print.

Getting excited for the turnaround of the blocks! I'm looking forward to making a keepsake patriotic quilt.
