Did you use 2.5" blocks for that quilt?

Barbara am I in? i sent you a PM. And many thanks for the inspirations! i am in process now of making some Project Linus quilts from a box of scraps that Reginaslovesfabric sent me. It is amazing how simple scraps turn into beauties that anyone can do! I blogged about this on the North Branford Patch because I got a reply from someone who said she is so intimidated by the quilts she sees in magazines that she figures she doesn't have the talent to make a quilt of her own.

Barb- very inspiring. I especially like the one for your son's MIL.
Right now I am working on a psq with 1.5" squares. I have been piecing the quilt in 8" blocks. I have 50 of the 72 blocks finished. I am going to start on my 2.5" blocks when I am done. I haven't decided what to do with them yet.I would like to do something "rainbow" but I think I would have too many blacks and neutrals left over. I would welcome any ideas.
    Great work, Barb!

Both quilts were made with the 2.5 blocks...the 5 x 5 has longer white strips (can't remember the size).

    Sorry Janice,
I thought I sent you a PM letting you know that you are in the group!
    Thanks for checking with me.
Great for you making some Linus Quilts, my mom has done that (still quilting at 85) and I am going to start to make bags for an organization that gives them to families with kids at Childrens Hospital.
Quilters are very generous with their time and fabric!!!!
    Welcome Janice

I thought placing first names on this group would help us to get to know each other. This group is different from the others. Our commitment is for 1 year. Most are for a month or two...and along the way you do make friends. I think that with a year commitment and showing off all the wonderful things we make we will make this a great group!
Please let me know if I missed anyone. (PM)
