Oh Boop - you did a beautiful job! I can't wait to get it back!

Thank you to everyone for creating this beautiful quilt to honor my step-brother and his new wife! If I can bring myself to give it up, that is...

Wednesday is tour big reveal day. That is tomorrow, I had to walk it around and show some neighbors. Everyone is totally in love with it. I think I may have screwed it up though. So out of balance. Didn't realize until I had it done and hung it up to look at it

I have been out to the mailbox 5 - count 'em - 5 times! And the mail is 3 hours late! It is usually here by noon. Ugh the torture....

Wouldn't you know the mail would be late on the day you KNOW you are going to get something you can't wait to see. Happens all the time.

Late? I wish the mail were late. The postal carrier didn't show up at all! I can't believe that today of all days this would happen. We live on a little island with only a few occupied houses, and I can only imagine that our regular carrier was out sick or something today and so we just didn't get service. Can you believe it!

You are really killing me now. I could have drove it to ya. I should of. Can you imagine. It would be like winning a sweepstakes. The doorbell would ring. I would wait with breath held. You would open the door. I would be standing there with balloons and flowers and yell "Obsessed you didn't win the million dollar sweepstakes but here is your quilt. LOL

Ack! You should have driven it here! I would have gotten a kick out of that!

I didn't post because I didn't want to worry you, but it is not here yet. I'm not too worried - I'm sure it is just my incompetent post office that can't figure out how to deliver things. Whatever happened with the mail yesterday must have thrown them all off kilter. I did get mail today though. I'm sure it will find its way home in the next few days...

    Sitting here twiddling my thumbs...

The mail just came and ... it's here! It's here!

It is so much more beautiful in person than I could imagine from the pictures. Just perfect - each and every block. Once I get the borders on and it ready for quilting I will post a picture.

Thank you so much to all you lovely ladies for contributing to this beautiful quilt!

Next row robin... I will be keeping the quilt just for me! It is going to be so hard to give this one away.... I'm sure my stepbrother and his wife will appreciate it though. Last Christmas I made her just some little zipper cosmetic bags and she really liked them. They are the kind of people who understand and appreciate handmade gifts.

Glad you finally got it, Lara. It really is a beautiful quilt. Will be looking forward to seeing what borders you put on it.

This was a really fun group of people to work with. Thank you all for your hard work.
