Oh no eye surgery is not good but maybe a good thing also? perhaps she will be able to see better than before. I will keep her in my prayers losing eye site would be beyond scary.

I am doing well Twinrivers! I love Wyoming. It so peaceful and beautiful and well country how can one not living in the country? Its exactly what I needed. Now to get the DH working again and out of the house lol and to find a bigger place so we are not crammed in so much. This is an excellent launching point for us. Its nice to be around the horses, cows, fields and fields of hay and alfalfa and then of course the deer everywhere and the cute antelopes (they are cute) and well cowboys... sigh.. if only I was younger . ok the older ones aren't too bad either and they are so polite its sweet. If you havent come to Wyoming before I suggest a visit. Yellowstone is only an hour away.. and lakes and rivers and the buffalo bill museum in Cody.. if you like the outdoors you will LOVE Cody

Oh twinrivers I did not realize you had send yours already. I had a similar issues but had not send mine, just sheer luck, and after some juggling and the help from the swap host I received a quilt and send mine on to quiltermomma who made lots of quilts for many people. Yes, I second do not send unless you are sure people are ready and able to finnish the swap with you.

TwinRiver, I am just in shock that some one would have the gall to email you and tell you how much she was enjoying your quilt and she never made one for you! Now that is just wrong~ Sometimes things happen, sometimes life is tough, but there is never a reason not to stay in touch.

I also would add to a quilt for someone who did not get one. I love love love mine! My partner, Libby made me a great quilt! The cat thinks it belongs to her though!

Well, I just decided not to fret over it, all things happen for a reason, right? And this year Elizabrat made me so happy with the beautiful Frog Pond, now proudly displayed on my loft railing! And next to it is the lovely quilt that everyone chipped in to make me last year, so I think I came out ahead when it comes down to it.
Cats and quilts... they just kinda go together, don't they? I had to kick all 3 of mine off the current project yesterday, they were trying to get a nap in while staying close to me. Love them all though.

I must say that I am privileged to enjoy the ones I received last year and this year. Anna, yours sits in the family room, Linny's in the living room, Tam Moo's comes out when the air conditioner is to cold, then Whigrose's, since it is applique, hangs on the wall in its own glory. I love each one!
Linny, your's looks so beautiful over the back of my love seat. For this weekend, I am going to be laying a couple of them over the sofa in the family room to hide the holes in the sofa for the birthday party. Want the house to look cozy as ever!

I owe my partner an apology - a BIG one. I was looking for a picture to send to my sister and couldn't find it on my computer. I went to the camera to check - just in case - and there was the picture for her, but also, the picture of my quilt from my partner - Jane. I had taken a picture to share with everyone when it came, but never downloaded the camera. I am so sorry - guess that looks like I didn't care, but I DID!!!! Here is my beautiful quilt - just love the colors.

No problem, Kathleen. I posted a picture when I sent it.

I am glad you "love" your quilt, my cats were banned from it while sewing the binding on. Glad yours got to break it in all on her own. I thought my sister was going to swipe mine while she was here, but I checked her handbag before she left!

If a quilt needs to be made for someone I volunteer to add to one also.
