Time for a contest....in honor of WMUTeach's birthday!!!!!!
All these famous people share their birthday with our very own WMUTeach. Who are they?
1) Neurosurgeon who is running for President.
2) He was Tony Soprano's on HBO's Sopranos
3) He is a cyclist who won the Tour de France....7 times!
4) She is an actress and is married to "the prince of belaire"
5) He was the cop with a bird (TV Show)....in real life he killed his wife.

Yea! My day is finally here. Thank you everyone for the wonderful candies, a couple extras and the warm wishes! I am blessed! Yesterday, in anticipation of today, my husband took me to the quilt store to get some low volume texty fabric for the background of my Arkansas Crossroads, which is what I've decided to tackle first (it's all sewbizgirl's fault!) I bought "Figures" in light blue by Zen Chic. Can't wait to start!!

Happy Happy Birthday PeginCo, I hope you had a terrific day and an awesome evening to come. You made me laugh, my "crossroads" was because of sewbizgirl too, if fact she is the wonderful lady that invited me to this swap. I am so glad she did, never would have done it without her. So quiet on the board today...maybe everyone is outside doing their thing before winter really comes. Hope your day is great!!!! Enjoy the candies

How many yards did you get? Planning on doing this also and will be going to some quilt stores this coming week.

Hope you are having the BESTEST birthday, Peg! Have fun sorting and playing with all those candies.
I have started a baby sized Ark. Crossroads too! Just trying to get some 16-patches put together with my candy, and then I'm using a teeny orange print on mostly white fabric for the background. This one is for donation. If I can just make 16 patches in my spare sewing time, I will have them ready and maybe make a dent in my candy. I have enough to do a lot of quilts.
Hey Peg, I'm doing a craft fair in two weeks! Hope I sell some quilts.
Jaba, I'm so glad you joined this swap. I actually invited you and Peg both... as I knew you to be fun, reliable swappers from other swaps on the board.

Happy Birthday PeginCo...Hope your day was great! I am sorry that I missed your day but I hope you had fun at the quilt shop picking out your backing. Sewbizgirl has inspired a lot of us with that Arkansas Cross.
