2015/16 birthday swap...candy style 2.5"
#1592
The charm boxes stack well in my overcrowded workroom with easy access for ongoing projects. Have a coat box for small leftover fabric to cut into charms, when I can get around to it, for the charm boxes. I usually color code & separate charms into sweater boxes for upcoming swaps to avoid sending duplicates.
I use ziploc bags to distribute the various sized bags I receive from swapping & mark the size on the outside bag & put all in the largest bag for recycling - just burns me when swappers tape things to bags that can be recycled a bunch of times. I place a tag on the inside of the bag. Been using a certain swap bag with my address label on the outside for 3 yrs & it always comes back to me! Just sent it off again this week in Mariposa's swap.
Really trying to keep my workroom floor free. Whew, didn't mean to write a book. So sorry!!!!
hugs,
dj

I bought (long time ago) from JoAnn's a plastic project container that has a handle. It holds quite a bit. I have out grown that and will start another container. It keeps it clean and not take too much room. It works for me. I have been saving and swapping for 2 years now, now it's time to start using up some of the squares. and make beautiful quilts, lol.
I know it's early, but Happy Thanksgiving to all and happy 26th, to those who don't.

How do you store your 2 1/2" squares. I have been trying to find a bin that has 2 1/2" compartments, but I just haven't come up with anything yet. I don't want to sort them all out just to have them get mixed up again. I know I could do baggies, but I was thinking if I could find a box that would be so much nicer.
So I reposting this...please let us know...I am always looking for organizing ideas.
