1)Tell us a little about your family. Hubby Wesley and I have two adult sons and one adorable grandson.
    2) What is your favorite color? I love bright colors but I always go back to gray and aqua - my perennial favorites.
    3) What is your favorite quilt you have made? A flannel almost-twin-size quilt I made for my younger son. It was the first thing I made that was larger than a wallhanging, nearly 14 years ago. He loved it (still does). It has gone everywhere with him, been washed so many times, and still looks pretty good!
    4) Favorite TV show? I'm not a big TV person, but I like Downton Abbey.
    5) Do you have furry or feathered friend in your life? My son's dog lives with us. She's a St. Bernard/Great Dane mix. A real sweetheart but a little on the large side!

    My turn:

    1) Tell us a little about your family.
I've been with my husband, Mike, for 10 years - married for 4 years. We met as Peace Corps Volunteers in Uganda. We have 2 sons. Everet is 3, Orson turns 1 at the end of March.

    2) What is your favorite color? Green/Blue/Teal

    3) What is your favorite quilt you have made?
Probably the one I am working on right now. I signed up for Pile o' Fabrics Skill Builder BOM. I've only done straight line quilting. This BOM is really exciting because I will get do many things I've never done - Bias Applique, Foundation Paper Piecing, Turned-Edge Applique, English Paper Piecing, Curves Piecing, Improvisational Piecing, and Quilt-As-You-Go. I am doing a rainbow layout using fabrics from my stash.
    4) Favorite TV show? Orphan Black

    5) Do you have a furry or feathered friend in your life? not at the moment but I do love dogs

All the birthday cards I send out are Everet originals. Keeps him occupied for a bit and saves me time and money - win-win.

While going through my scrap box and organizing and cutting, I also took out pieces for this crayon quilt. I have enough for two. It was so much fun, and I couldn't believe I had that many scraps! But after cutting the candy, and organizing the rest, by box is starting to have room
