I'm going to keep on with this, all out of blue so will have to figure out different color "blocks" and go with it. At least it is different I think, never seen one with this pattern. I guess we will all know when I finish it

OK, this is just too weird. I was walking through a website for a local quilt shop and one of the teachers is an Onalee. The shop is in Plainwell, Michigan. I wonder if this is a third Onlalee or our own QB "Onalee Rose". To see that name three times in one day is really quite....unusual! I shall put on my deerstalker hat, grab my magnifying glass and investigate! A trip to a quilt shop is always worth investigating!
Hello Everyone ~
I just rec'd notice from Barb over the weekend that I'm in for the 2016 ~ 2017 year of candies! My board name is onaemtnest as you can see by my Avitar. But, please call me Onalee.
onaemtnest~ is on a empty nest although it has been several years since we tore up the nest when kids left for the Air Force and college respectfully, we still enjoy our empty nest status.
There is another Onalee with Quilting Board she is Onalee Rose. Onalee Rose is from Michigan and the only other Onalee I have ever met and it was via the Quilting Board and she too told me that I was the first Onalee she'd ever met and we're both .... well let's just say well seasoned humans on this highway called life.
I look forward to chatting with all on the swap, learning, laughing and sharing. I tend to get long winded at times. I so enjoy making new friends especially those that share our love of this fiber art called quilting.
Quilting? Which still confounds my husband that the process of cutting up perfectly fine fabrics just to sew it all back together again is logical. He however is my biggest fan and supporter and never begrudges my fabric purchases, gadgets and various things that I'm sure will make me a more proficient piecer (at least out loud he doesn't complain :0). He did sympathize with the movers when they groaned with the comment, "What another box for the sewing room?"
So "Hey there from Onalee in Idaho"

Good afternoon. I received an envelope from AnokaQuilter today. Thank you very much! That brings the total to 25 with 5 days remaining. Maybe they'll all be here in time?!?! That would be terrific. I'm waiting until Monday to open them but it's getting more difficult.
