2015/16 birthday swap...candy style 2.5"

Rosemary, thank you for those great photos! It's so much fun to see your LOOT! Pretty cards and lots of candy to sort through. And lobster... can't beat that! And the kids came... what a great birthday!

OK, this is just too weird. I was walking through a website for a local quilt shop and one of the teachers is an Onalee. The shop is in Plainwell, Michigan. I wonder if this is a third Onlalee or our own QB "Onalee Rose". To see that name three times in one day is really quite....unusual! I shall put on my deerstalker hat, grab my magnifying glass and investigate! A trip to a quilt shop is always worth investigating!
Just seeing your note WMUTeach! Wow I will be VERY interested in hearing and I'm sure Onalee Rose would love to meet her. I know that Onalee Rose lives along the Lake not sure if that is near where the quilt shop is that you are talking about. It will be interesting if she spells her name the same as we do. So often it turns out to be a AnnaLee or some form of Anna. I cannot tell you how many ways I've had my name misspelled giving me the name Anna, Ona, Oma or some variation of it, not to mention mispronunciation of the name. :0) I so disliked the name when I was a youngster, as unusual names were not common way back then.
Now days unusually named children seem to be favored or spelling a common name in an unusual way. I would love to tell new parents that their children don't need a name spelled unusually to make their child unique. They in fact, in my experience, burden their children with having to correct people constantly when their parents have given them an unusual name or uncommon spelling of a common name.
Please post a picture of you with your deer stalker hat and magnifying glass peering between the bolts of fabric seeking the truth in this investigation. :0)

rosemary, glad you had a great day. happy birthday.
I have mailed out my last 2 candy 4 days ago. It shouldn't be too long for everyone to have them. I was told 2-4 days. If you don't get them in a few days, please let me know.
Jaba, the blue quilt project is very nice. Keep going in the color way you have. I really like the Color & pattern.
The ourses/tote bags are pretty.
Thank-you for the link to BH candy block ideas. I saved it for future ideas.
