    Hello everyone

Hope everyone is well. I have taken a leave from the board for a few days to sew sew sew! I made a easter egg pillow covered with buttons. (each little button sew on by hand) also a birthday banner so sweet gonna use it for all the family birthdays, and 13 pillows made from my father's flannel shirts. My dad passed away in January and I took his shirts home. Just really wanted to finish this project. Plan on giving one to each of my siblings, my kids and my mom. And me!

So I see I made a mistake on the address. So sorry Sewbizgirl. I will resend your correct address to everyone that you haven't received from. ( I only mark it of when she receives your package so if you have sent your package please just disregard). Glad to see that most of them are making their way to you.

Usually we would have a contest after a birthday and I didn't know what to do since bjsmith57 is out of town. But I decided to go ahead and so the contest. that will be next post.

    Barb

    Contest time

All of these questions have been taken from the questionnaire you all filled out. So find the person that answered the following:

    1) Who said, "Dust Bunnies are their pets"?

    2) Who was in the Peace Corps in Uganda ?

    3) Who is going to have a great grandson in April?

    4) Who said " I hate commercials so I DVR everything that I watch"?

    5) Who is a retired that nurse that worked in the ER?

Ok send me a PM with the answers for this contest.

Contest ends Wednesday April 1 ....11PM set.

    Good luck!
    BARB

That's why I mentioned I used them too. Our first year swapping Birthday Candy I wasn't particular with a set of cards, when I took them to the PO they wanted over $3.00. I said NOWAY, took them home, and repackaged them. I've mailed mine the same way ever since.

Several of the ones that I have received have been addressed to the wrong address, but they made it anyway because the zip code was correct. Thank goodness for those zip codes!

Barb, please take some pictures of your creations and show us... would love to see what you did with your Dad's shirts and that button covered pillow!

Yes, if you make your package too thick they will charge you for a first class package, rather than a letter. It's way more expensive! I think the thickness has to be 1/4" or less for it to be considered a letter. But that's easy to achieve if you stack your little squares right.
