I apologize for my rant but seriously I even went into the post office to make sure there was no extra postage due and they failed to metion that. Hopefully all the other may birthdays got theirs because I am pretty sure I did it to one other birthday swap. I cant help it when the new puppy likes stamps and they dont stick real well after se got a hold of them. Well happy day I get to mail again so it will be a belated one. Sorry to all
They don't like the stamps taped because then they can't cancel them. You can glue them down, tho. Some good old Elmer's works well. Sorry you had to get more postage.

June is my month. I do think I will celebrate from the very first envelope to the last envelope. (Could be a long fun filled month) woo hoo

And who says you have to wait for your birthday to start opening those wee little packages of treats! You can begin celebrating anytime! A treat is a treat any time of the month!

16 loooog days until my birthday, and my yummy stack of envelopes is staring at me. Patience is NOT one of my virtues! LOL! I must resist. I must resist.

I have been "missing" this past month for.... but with good excuse. One of my daughter's, who is living with me, has been in the hospital for a week, the semester at the university has come to an end and I have been spending too much time with doctor's appointments. Surgery on Tuesday this upcoming week. I did spent part of my time at quilt retreat mid-April planning projects that I can do by hand during recovery. I trust that later this summer will provide me with a little time to return to quilting. As much as I love it, when life happens my quilting falls off and I miss the time at the machine.

I do keep checking into the Board each day and enjoy the finishes, questions and photos of the work of others. I am dreaming of quilts, planning quilts but not a stitch has been made in almost a month. Back to you in a few days. Birthday wishes to all of the May Babies!
