Glad y'all are getting cards I sent. I'm glad I prepared enough for the summer. I think my daughter is planning a move north!!!! She's interviewed for jobs in Utah and Idaho. Soooo some of you know I've been working on quilts for all my MotherInLaw's grandkids (23). I've been very systematic about them (and slow). I get very emotional when I work on them and very distracted. I made my GrandNiece a graduation quilt in three days! And a Loulouthi Tile quilt out of wild flowers in less than a week for a dear friend going through chemo for breast cancer. .... So I've decided if my baby's moving north I should finish all the Grandma Quilts that should go there and she can take them up! (Two examples of how I get distracted away from Grandma Quilts.)
Here are pics of the two quilts I finished. My niece's high school has a beauty school as well so she graduated with her Hair Stylist license too. I had bought stylist embroidery programs months and months ago. I Had no excuse for having to make her quilt in three days. I literally finished the binding, folded it, and rushed to her party an two hours late! Good finish though.
My friend who is very sick grew up in Texas. They live in Virginia now. I thought my Texas wild flower collection would be perfect for her and I'dbeen saving them specifically to try in a Loulouthi style quilt. I love it and should have made two (one for me lol).

Good news ..... Rosemary attaway, MaT, Sewbizgirl and Moonrise...your prize is finally in the mail.
I went to the house I nanny at and used Amelia's sewing machine. Mine is in the shop and hopefully fingers crossed I get it back today. Two weeks without a sewing machine (and lots of rain) is a loooooong time!
I hope you like them. But remember don't post what they are...trying to keep it a secret.
