Here's a picture of my booth - mostly divided baskets and small coin purses, tea wallets...and also I Spy items.

Hi birthday swappers! One of my projects for this years candy is a controlled scrappy triple Irish Chain. I had a rough time getting to sleep last night so I sorted candies!

Just got home from vacation and my mailbox is bursting! I am still looking for the perfect project for the candy squares, right now I just want to throw them on my bed and roll in them!

Awesome craft booth! Hope you sold bunches. I've been doing craft fairs for about 3 years now.

I also wanted to let y'all know that, starting on Friday, I probably won't have internet access for 9-10 days. DH and I are going camping in the Smoky Mountains / Blue Ridge Parkway for our 27th anniversary, and I doubt there will be much signal (phone or WiFi) up in the mountains. Sometimes being "disconnected" for a few days is a good thing, though, right? We plan on taking lots of pictures, going fishing, and just enjoy spending time with each other. He normally works such crazy hours that the only time he's home is to sleep, gobble down a meal, and take a fast shower. We'll be taking our teardrop camper, which we built over the last 9 months, literally an hour or two at a time. Technically it's not even finished yet, but it's camp-able as it is. This will be the first time we've even pulled it anywhere, so we're hoping it does okay.

It started out looking like this ... an old 24+' trailer that had been sitting out in my dad's field for years. It was rather beauty-challenged, with lots of rust and dry-rotted tires! My dad wanted it gone, and we wanted to build a teardrop camper, so it was win-win for both of us. (Pardon the stuff on the trailer. My dad hasn't yet unloaded it when I snapped the picture.)

And here's the most recent photo I've taken. The fenders are painted black now, but they were still white at the time of the photo. When it's completely finished, it'll have a black diagonal stripe along the bottom, but that'll have to be done when we get back, because we won't have time before we leave. DH still has to paint the wheels. Hopefully he can do that one morning this week. The trailer is now about 15' long ... much shorter than it originally was. It's hard to tell from the photo, but there's a space in the front where we can carry our recumbent trikes, a storage box, the spare tire, etc.

Here's a Photoshopped picture of how the paint will be.

If you're not familiar with teardrop campers, they are usually 4' or 5' wide and 8'-10' long, with a galley (kitchen) in the back. Ours is a little over 5' wide and 10' long, and has tandem axles. It has a queen-size bed, an A/C, LED interior lighting, a TV and video game system (not yet installed), oak cabinet doors, and interior shelves (partially installed). There is a galley/storage area in the back, which has a microwave, a toaster oven, and a cooler. It's got brand new tires, and the doors have large drop-down windows with screens. There is no built-in bathroom, but we have a privacy shelter where we can put a porta-potty and take a shower. There is no standing room in a teardrop. The camper itself is only 4' tall. And, of course, it'll have a quilt on the bed, as well as quilted curtains.

Have fun, Moonrise! Looks like you are off on an awesome adventure. Park near a bathroom! We want to hear about it when you get back.

It's great to go 'unplugged' for a while.
