As you see we have a long lost friend coming back to swap with us this year...Welcome back Fraew!

We are up to 22 and I have one more looking to get her referral. I was hoping for 30 but we have a quality group of ladies so quantity is not as important as quality!


So as of right now we do not have any March birthdays Looks like Sewbizgirl might be starting us off this year with an April 9th birthday. This might change so please keep checking back.

Also wondering if anyone would be up for a-quilt-a-long during the year (probably more then 1) This would be a great opportunity to use up the squares that we have been hoarding...(um I mean collecting) over the years. (newbies did you save any of the squares that you cut for yourself?) If we decide to do a quilt a long it is NOT mandatory for the swap, just a suggestion and something else to keep us all together for the year. I am hoping for lots of chit chat from everyone.

In the past the people that are chatting here are NOT the people who are late so I want LOTS of sharing and chatting, so I thought this might be a good idea and a NEW idea. If you have a pattern that you would like to share and Lead a quilt-a-long please send me a PM with a picture. Project must use our little squares (but not only little squares) and can be a quilt (any size), wall hanging, or other sewing project. Ohhhhhh that makes me excited! (I need a happy dancing emoji)

I would like everyone to check in with a HI and a little about yourself on March 1, so I can see who is here and send a nudge if I gotta to those who are not. With that being said you still need to check to see if you get a PM with a March address if we get a March baby. (hope this makes sense).

YES, I would be up for some quiltalongs! We have so many great pattern ideas floating around out there and why not make some of them together? This is going to be a really fun year for us.

It's my UFO year - have a PSQ, Farmer's Wife, Bargello, Yo-Yo, 5" block, Charming Addition, Moonglow, Lollipop, one original black/white/red, and two repairs to antique quilts in the works so it's doubtful I'll have time for a quilt along, but am looking forward to cool ideas, patterns, contests, & humor that always appear in this swap!
