Love all tiny dresden plates that were shared. I made one over the weekend, I was inspired by my 30's fabric also. But just made one. I am planning on making some this week with brights so that they match the "slice and dice" quilt that I made.

I'm thinking about making some potholders with the tiny dresdens on them. They would be so cute.

I was terrified the first time... but it was such a breeze that this time I wasn't even nervous a bit. The prep the day before is the worst of it... self-induced diarreah with laxatives. Not fun but it won't kill you, either. When you go in for the procedure you literally feel NOTHING. Even afterwards it feels like nothing even happened. You are asleep through the whole thing. It's really easy. Nothing to fear.

I went away with friends this weekend, "Crafting" It was a great weekend to stay inside and craft all weekend long, we had rain and even a little bit of snow so it was easy to stay inside and be cozy. So there were 10 women, 2 were scrapping booking, 1 was knitting, 2 (me) were quilting, 2 were cross stitching, 1 was making massage oils and rubs ???, 1 was making things from Pinterest and one was plucking her eye brows!!! ha she was just happy to get away and not go to another soccer game for her girls. ( remember I live in Michigan and it snowed this weekend)

So I made 7 pillows for my daughter in law. And I have been working on Christmas stockings with our sweet candy squares. I need to make 18 stockings...so far I have 8 fronts made. Had a great time this weekend and made some new friends.

Great projects, Barb! The candy stocking looks great... so cute. Glad you had a nice time away with the other ladies.

Yesterday I got out my bin of shirt fabric (from actual shirts) and started a Scrappy Mountain Majesties quilt. I wanted to make a few male-oriented tops for donation quilts. The hospital is low on quilts for men. A friend with a long arm is going to quilt 3-4 tops for me, in trade for a roll of batting I gave her. This SMM quilt is really fun and easy. I love it in shirt fabrics.

Sewbizgirl - very nice quilt. I am sure that any man would be happy

Barb - looks like you had a very productive weekend. Love the stocking. I need to get busy and make a few of those for the holiday season. I think I need to make about 13 if them before the holidays. We have a friends Christmas every year the perfect place to hang many stockings.
