Received a squishy from Rosemary Attaway on Saturday. Thanks! I'll open it this evening.

Sunrise...sorry to hear about your falls. Take it easy and let yourself mend. ![Smile](https://cdn.quiltingboard.com/images/smilies/smile.png)

I have sent Lmanna, Patrick's Mom and Crispy Frog's birthday cards today.
Happy birthday, Caijin, hope you enjoyed every minute.
I'm sorry I haven't been active on the board lately. I fell a couple of days ago and then fell (tripped) again day before yesterday. I cut my arm up pretty bad and of course had to feel sorry for myself. Of course.
I did separate the batik charms and made a table runner. I have also separated my charms for the next table runner but I may change my mind and make a mug rug. I can't go downstairs yet so I am doing hand work upstairs.

Sunrise, I'm also sorry to hear about your falls. Please rest and take care of yourself. Heal up quickly. At least you can do handwork.
I've been getting into hand embroidery of late. I am working on an embroidered center for a wall hanging for my hubby. Going to give it to him for a birthday gift in August. This is the first embroidery I've done since my cross stitch craze of the 80's. I'm loving it! Here are my humble beginnings:

Here is my attempt at doing a candy dresden. I've never done anything other than raw-edge applique and had a problem understanding the directions. (Let's face it, I don't understand any directions. That's why I do my own patterns.) I got on YouTube and looked at enough videos to figure this much out. It was fun.
Thank you SheriR for another technique in my tool belt.
