Wow hapylab, king size? That's a load of squares. You must have a bunch accumulated, like I do! Plus... you'll be having a birthday coming up in a few months and have more candy to use. Would love to see your Ark Crossroads top when you get it done.

I loved reading all the camping stories, and several of them made me chuckle. I really enjoy camping, the more rustic the better. The only think I ask for is at least a pit-toilet. I will have to admit that as I get older getting up off the ground is getting a little hard for me these days. Currently I only use a sleeping pad, I may have to go up to an air mattress my next trip. The funny thing is; my husband is not much of a camper. Most of the time I am camping on my own or with friends. When I did the Row-by-Row up North my friend and I camped every night but one. The reason we opted for a motel the one night is that it was pouring down rain and I didn't bring any of my rain gear with and did not want to just hang out inside the tent for the night. The last time I bought a tent one of the main specifications it had to have was that I would be able to set it up 100% by myself. If I just need to get away for the weekend I have no problem with just packing up and taking off. MN has a lot of great campgrounds.

I did receive two more packages over the weekend

    Thank you.

Hmmm... hadn't thought of camping alone! Now that I might enjoy.

If I see any more using candy, I'll share them here.

ETA: Actually, I think these are 2" squares, but this would certainly work with 2.5".

I hope all y'all had a wonderful 4th. I melted on the town square helping my daughter man a booth. I thought I was doing good until I saw myself in the mirror. OH BOY!!!!! Mountain camping would have been much more comfortable! But she did well, so it was worth it.

IN MY SPARE time, I finished up my daughter's wedding quilt. http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...t-t280233.html I just love it. I will hang it in my sewing room for the next three weeks before I gift it to her at her wedding shower.

Oh and I mailed 3/4 Birthday Candy cards yesterday!!!
