organizing the sweet candy squares............I'm always looking for a better way...but here is mine:

These containers come 3 to a pack and stack on one another. You can add as many as you want until you have a very large tower.

So I mark the containers with my label maker (because I am ocd) after all they are clear with the appropriate color. So I go thru my boxes and bags (from swaps) and pull out what I want to use on a project, then I put the leftovers in the containers. So the next project will be a little easier because I can go to the "great tower of candy" and find what I am looking for. Besides color I also have a container for Christmas/Winter, halloween and kid (eye spy)

    Hope that makes sense....anyone else???????????

and...my tower is leaning. I don't know what I am doing wrong.

I have mine sorted by color... sorta (). I also have Christmas, Civil War, 30's, etc. sorted out. When I need darks and lights I just go through the colors and pull them.

That's a great idea Leesewzany. The bottom right block is one that I made with that fabric. It is called Judy's star.

I was wondering about the steel-like restraint you ladies are using by not opening your cards until your birthday. I'm thinking about opening one per day when it's my birthday month. I think I would enjoy that more than opening them all at once.

It was great having candy packets made up in advance, but I ran out. I put candies in the mail for: Dotcom, ClMay and ZoZee. I ran out of cards so Leesewzany will go out next week.

Birthday ladies, just enjoy your B-day month, save 'em or open 'em...it's totally up to you! Do whatever makes you happy. I waited until my b-day but I think it would be pretty special to open one a day, etc. It's like a month long b-day

Barb, I want to take your stockings to Florida with me so finished them today. I will keep track and see if you make your cuff different than what I did. Hope you don't mind, but love the idea of using 2 1/2" squares and wanted you to know I really made them, so here they are....l Iove 'em!! hope my son, daughter in law and new grand daughter will like them too....
