Oh no Barb, this little girl is number 12 for hubby and I's combined family. Very special for sure as we never thought she would happen Going to be a new and wonderful experience. I'm so looking forward to being a Florida "snow bird" and being able to spend lots of time with her. Just have to remember to take my b-day cards and candy squares with me so I can mail to all the "winter" b-day ladies.

So I am all caught up with my "Quilty" friends. I always refer to you ladies as my "quilty" friends...I noticed someone else did too.!!

Now where have I been???? Well my mom is still in rehab(shoulder surgery) and so if I'm not at work I am at rehab. My mom is desperately wanting to go home. She has a dr appt on Friday and if they take off her sling then she will be going home....to my home. (probably on Friday).

My mom thought she would be able to go to her home but they want her to have 24/7 care. My mom thought they said 4-7 care. So she thought she could go home and I just need to go to her house between 4-7 . She is doing much better but still not very steady on her feet. Uses a wheelchair most of the time. She will be using a walker at my house. My local sisters will be coming to my house to hang out with my mom when I go to work.

I had every intention of doing the next step for the QAL but it is already 11:18pm. Hopefully I will be able to post the next step tomorrow. (try, try, try)

Does everyone have your cuff ready???

    Barb

Whaaaaat? That's terrible! So very sorry.... how long before they will let you sew again? Did you fall and try to catch yourself? I feel so bad for you. Please get your rest and heal up.

Will be thinking of you on Thursday and saying a prayer for your surgery to go well.

I was leaving a first year birthday party and stepped on the landing but missed something. all i thought of was not my hip. I turned on my back and went all the way to the bottom of the stairs. Looked at my wrist and .... let's say it was malformed big time. Ambulance, ER, X-rays and morphine. Temporary cast, doctor visit, surgery Thursday and no sewing for about 6 to 8 weeks.

Thank you for you prayers. They bring peace and of course healing.

eek!! nasty WMUTeach, thoughts of a fast recovery are being sent your way. Guess a wrist is better than a hip replacement....but they both are bad enough!
