Not into Secret Santas and I've decided that if I have to do 1.5" squares it will be from strip sets! I am currently working on a recycled shirts quilt that has a bunch of 1" finished postage stamps... which I did from strip sets.

DJ I did join the Christmas ornament swap, tho. Looks like it's going to be a BIG one. Still plenty of time to sign up.

Love your shirt quilt, great placement, really eye catching!!!! Hubby spent an enormous amount of $$$ back in 2004 on tree birds with feathers, eggs, silver crosses & gold leaf stars, said it was his dream Christmas tree & this year it is his turn to do the tree. Already have 5 sets of tree themes & too much stuff in each theme so cannot join the ornament swap. Besides I've run out of storage for the boxes, 37 in all. Third bay of garage is packed to the rafters!
    hugs,

Wow... and I thought I had too much with a small under-the-stairs storage closet full. LOL. Hubby and I were just realizing we didn't have to decorate for Christmas at all this year, as no one is coming and we (all the kids and their spouses and us) are all going off to a Virginia farmhouse for a week to have Christmas this year. Yippee! It will be the first time since we were married I didn't put a tree. Might 'cave' and put one up anyway, just for us.

My neighbors would probably call the law to check on us if we didn't decorate every square inch inside & out!
I bet you cave, quarter! Must say, VA farmhouse sounds charming!

It's my fifth straight day of piecing the Carolina Crossroads shirt quilt and I'm still not done! I'm in the home stretch... building the setting triangles now. This thing is set on point... my nemesis. I'll show it when it's a top.

I really need to use my candies! I have made a few quilts with them and my 2" squares, but there always seems to be more. Maybe it's because I cut my leftover scraps into candies and stuff them into the candy drawer, as I go! I was thinking, since I have multiples of so many, to do a granny square type quilt. I think they are pretty.
