Thank you ladies so much for the birthday wishes. You're making my day. When we started this year I thought this day would never get here but you all know how fast time seems to fly! I took the day off work and am going to celebrate my birthday ALL weekend! LOL I don't have a husband or kids so I really enjoy my time sharing with my quilting friends here on this board and on Bonnie's Open Studio. I just started collecting vintage sewing machines and have a 1950ish Singer and a Domestic Rotary made between 1933-1941. They both need some work and cleaning. Can't wait to get them running! . I will be sitting down and opening my candies this afternoon with a cup of tea. These are the ones I received this week. I only have one outstanding and it is in the mail and my mail hasn't been delivered yet today so I consider it having received all my candies by my birthday! This has been a wonderful swap. Thank you ladies. I already have been buying up charms from The Missouri Star Quilt Co. when they go on sale so I'll be ready for the next swap!

Happy birthday to Dec. birthdays! Hope everyone is staying safe and warm.
My shopping is finished (I hope) and all wrapping should be finished today. Hubs is going to wrap with me, he is much better at wrapping then I am.

I have only one gift each for the kids. Will wrap as soon as I finish the last pair of slippers. We are taking a family trip so we all agreed on 'no gifts' this year. Will be making memories, instead! But... I'm the Mom and have a small surprise gift for each one of them. All but one are handmade "happies". I made both my older son and my son in law some crocheted slippers. The other son gets a really cool old framed picture of WWII planes in the clouds (he's a pilot). For the girls, they each get one of my aprons and a pair of hand embroidered kitchen towels. Something for everyone to open.
For a laugh, these are the slippers my son in law begged me to make him:
