First of all, Merry Christmas to all. I just checked into our Birthday Swap site this morning and oh, my what I have missed! I just spend the past 20 minutes the searching the Temperature Quilt idea, the sites and it would be a new way to use our 2.5 squares. Thanks to you, Imanna. I like the idea of the high/low temps to make it more interesting but I may just join squares to keep it simple creating daily rectangles. I live in southwest Michigan and our temps range from an occasional day below zero to a couple of days just a smidge over 100 so my color choices are huge because of the various ranges of temp. I may make a could of test runs to see what I like best.
Just thought of one way to record our temps. I was given a free calendar from a local store. What to do, what to do with this piece of year long advertising! I will hang it in my quilt room and just record the temps, high/low daily, on the calendar! Guess it is time to begin sorting squares into color groups and assign temperatures!

Thanks everyone! I'm going to be a little slow opening my candies and posting feedback. I've had a wild ride the past three days! Starting with Christmas, it was a day long feast and fun with lots of laughs and wine. Then on Monday, I had another go at feasting and fun (with wine of course) at a different friend's house for a "post Christmas" celebration. Then yesterday for my birthday, I went to dinner with two friends -- we had gift cards from a year ago for a restaurant in a neighboring city that we had never used. So that was enjoyable, and then we hit another venue for some after dinner drinks. I think I'm partied out for a while. And I managed to squeeze in some sewing time both Monday and Tuesday also! Now it's back to reality. Laundry and cleaning today.
I PROMISE I'll get my basket full of envelopes opened and post feedback and some photos. Thanks again, one and all! I do think I'm going to stretch out my Birthday celebration for another day or two!!
