I think I will attempt to make the smaller size, I'll need to cut some more squares, but I just love the pattern, and the background that sewbizgirl used on her example! And mine will be real random (scrappy)!! And now off to find a cool background fabric!

1) if you are doing the QAL - I think I will give it a go and see if I can keep up. I have a busy March so maybe this will force me down into the sewing room.
2) if you plan on a color scheme or random - Color Scheme
3) if you are NOT playing along this time.... just give us words of encouragement. I I cannot keep up I will be rooting for all of you making the quilt.

Because it's a UFO that I started in '13!!I'm using coordinating batiks that are mostly randomly placed. It's a UFO because I couldn't decide on a background fabric. Well, now I have 1 week to make that decision. It's nice to have deadlines sometimes.

Barb, thanks for the thread #s so I can return later to complete this lovely quilt. Think I'll start a notebook just for this quiltalong for reference later. Wish I had time to join in, but 2016 is my UFO year - 21 UFO quilts screaming for me to get with it!
Just think of the lovely quilt artwork coming to this thread at the end of quiltalongs - some to gift, to keep & to donate. I salute all participating in the QALs. Impressive efforts, really.
