Hi, Thanks for the pattern. I am going to do the QAL in the lap size. First I need to sort my candy squares into colors so I can do the color version. This looks like it will be more time consuming than sewing as I have squares from several swaps. It will be a fun project.

I can quilt but who said I could read directions. This is how I get so many orphan blocks! I will just use those extras in another 2.5 quilt! I got 4 more made so now I can make choices or throw the extras together for a runner!

    Thanks for the catch!

It wasn't on Quilter's Cache & is not the Arlington block (fussy cut angles) either. They say the first thing to go is nouns, please helps me with this noun!

I found this block in "Marsha McCloskey's Block Party" book. She simply calls it a Pinwheel.

It was hiding from you on Quilter's Cache... one of their pinwheel blocks.

    It's pinwheel #8 on quilter's cache...makes a 10" block. Shouldn't be too difficult to make it larger.

Thanks sewbizgirl & jaba! I graphed it to a 6" for my Farmer's Wife (only 16 blocks to go, yeah).

Wow, I've never won anything! TY
    About these squares...
Victoria Finley Wolf, NYC quilter, designer, author, suggests we warm up each day with a bit of
scrap sewing. She calls it "making fabric". I sorted out some candy & laid out some blocks. Will sew
while I watch the news & plan my day. I use a cut up plastic tablecloth to hold each block. Photo coming.
