Sewbizgirl...the name CrispyFrog was inspired by the crispy breakfast cereal that had a big green frog on the box. I don't remember the name of the cereal, but I do remember that I used to love it!

In the last two years the stamp cost $.70 for one card with 50 charms in it. The USPS has just raised rates, tho, so it may be a bit more now. I suggest you take one to the P.O. and have them weigh it and tell you what stamp... then you'll know what to buy.

You need to package your charms so they lie as flat as possible.... like in 6 little stacks inside the card. If the package comes out thicker than 1/4" they will charge you a package rate rather than a letter rate, which is a little more money. It's all about whether the letter can go through their auto sorter or will have to be hand cancelled. Thicker than 1/4" can't go through.

The stacks of candies seem to 'settle' into one another after a while. Your candy stacks will be thicker right when you first assemble them, then they will seem to get thinner.

I used to love Sugar Smacks cereal as a kid, too!

I can never get the bukk down, the PO only allows 1/4". I had my envelopes tested out yesterday, as I mailed out cards to the February ladies from the 2015/2016 swap, and the postage cost me $1.20. One 49cent stamp, and one 71 cent one.

Djmat! That's the box! Honey Smacks! Now I have to go out and buy some! If I had the patience to figure it out, that picture should be my avatar.

Thanks everyone for the shipping tips. My envelopes do look a little thick, I'd better visit the post office to play it safe!

I always mail my candy in six stacks of eight with the extra in top of those. Even with an extra gift I made, which is really flat, my cards only cost .71 to mail. The truck is getting them flat!

Yes, the trick is getting them flat and in two years I have not mastered that one yet.
