Barbara congrats on a new baby girl! I'm jealous I have to wait until August for a new granddaughter. I think I like this white background for the star better, brings out the other white in some of the squares for the 16 patches. What do you all think??[ATTACH=CONFIG]545048[/ATTACH]

jaba: Both are really nice. I like the Purple with Red version slightly better- especially now that I understand it's for the red hatters society :-)

jaba, I like the purple & red together but the white & red & lavender makes it look lighter which is bold enough for this Red Hatter.[ATTACH=CONFIG]545089[/ATTACH]

And Jaba, I love the stars with the white background... so pretty. Sometimes 'design tweaking' takes longer than sewing the quilt, doesn't it?

If the board is still out of whack tomorrow, I won't be able to post Step #3 of our QAL. But I will get it up as soon as they fix the problems. Just keep checking back, I guess.

After sleeping on it and dreaming on it all night long, I decided on the white background too. Been sewing on them all day, have about 12 more to go. Tomorrow the final clue for our quilt a long, so glad to be able to have this one done too. Boom fabrics have been shipped so will have to start blocks soon
