Wow, gone for a few days and all kinds of things happening....

Sewbizgirl, thank you so much for all you do. Even though I have not been able to keep up with the QAL I have saved every step. As of today I have no plans for the weekend, so with only one more step left, maybe if I spend some time in the sewing room I may get caught up. I have been focusing on King Size bed quilt UFO's because it is something I really want to get done before the end of this month. I just finished getting the borders on last night. Now to get it quilted and bound.

Jaba - Your Red Hatter quilt is so pretty. I really like the red/white/purple star blocks. It just pulls it all together. I hope it actions off for way more than it is worth. Your Sunflower AR Crossroads if beautiful. You really do have a good eye for color.

Frew - Love the colors for your AR Crossroads. But then again I am partial to batiks and love working with them.

MizMelly - That is a great Easter Basket. Trying the coiled baskets is on my to-do list. One of these days I will give them a try.

Barb - congratulations on the new Granddaughter. She is a cutie.

Mailed my April birthday packages out today. Would have gotten them out yesterday but the post office and I had a disagreement between what was "too squishy" vs "not squishy enough" to fit through the machine and thereby avoid the manual handing charge. Total mailing cost per package for me was .71.

Imanna, mine are usually .71 cents also. Was really surprised, but the post master weighed them. We will see, this was an experiment. If someone ends up owing postage on this 1st month b-day send please let me know and I will send you the money for sure.
