Oh yes, I used 39073 for your zip code. My receipt says that. I'm glad that I kept the receipt. Now along with a tracking number, I have a case number. Hopefully, they will notice that they sent it to the wrong state and get it to you before your birthday.

Good afternoon everyone. This morning I finally put together candy packages for the first 12 birthday gals this year. I like to send closer to the birthday date than some of you so mine will start going out next week. First up will be sewbizgirl's!

I've been following the SAL, sewbizgirl. Wish I could have joined in this time but I've got too much on my plate as it is. Maybe in the future. Beautiful top though and I saw at least 2 of my fabrics in it. Makes me happy!

"Candy squares are 2.5" 100% cotton squares that you would be happy to put in your own quilt."

I sent out April's birthday cards today. I feel like I sent some too early, but better to get them out of the way I suppose. Before I got into quilting I did a lot of paper crafts, so I was able to dig up my envelope maker to create some nice big envelopes out of leftover scrapbook papers. The envelopes that came with my cards are way too small!
I also have a finished quilt top from the QAL, I will post a picture eventually.
Happy Easter to those who celebrate and joyous Astarte to those who don't.

I guess I'm really early in sending out Birthday packages. Is is okay to send when we get the names or are we supposed to send closer to the BD?

Anyway the April packages were mailed to the ladies on 3-23-16 from me to them's ! :0)

If I don't send them when we get the names, I fear these old memory bones may not get them in the mail as I'm supposed to.

Yes, it's good to mail early... as soon as you get the addresses. The postal service is so whacky these days, you can't count on the packages arriving where they are supposed to or on time. Since we receive feedback for our swaps arriving on time, better to be safe than sorry! Most people will save their packages until their birthday if they arrive early.

I mailed the 1st BD candy yesterday. I know you will get it on time. I plan to mail the other 2 next week. I hope you like your candy.

I have all the candy cut, I used my accu cutter. It made it so easy to cut out the squares.
Over the next few weeks I plan to package all of the other fabric.

I'm slowly working on the sew along. I have my 2 blocks together. Today I hope to sew most of the 16 patches together.

Over the last 2 weeks I have been busy sewing on other projects. I complete the Doll quilt top, and an UFO scrappy top from the one of Judy's quilt train on QB. And I finished a dog quilt top for my dog and an Easter table runner top. I will post pics when I get them quilted and completed.

Happy Easter Everyone or if you don't celebrate, Have a Happy, Happy day anyway.
