I thought I did a good job and sealed the next 15 cards that I did! LOL I've got some fixing to do!
Six stacks of 8 with the two extras on top will always come out thin enough for the $.71 stamp. Just make sure they can sit side by side, not overlapping at all. I buy the bigger cards so they fit perfectly, and once I close the card and slip in in the envelope I smooth it down with my hand. It gets pretty thin.

We all have a 'learning curve' when we start this swap. But it doesn't have to cost more than $.71. That's enough, when you are sending out 30 or so!

Whew, had to buy new vehicle. Mark Twain said, "Life is 90% maintenance", so true for me this week, been running from pillar to post and it is only Tuesday, just want to hide out in my work room & quilt.

Made it to the Post Office, BD pkgs went out today!
Busy cutting for scrap swap. Wish those that did the 1st QAL would post pics when you finish, so looking forward to it.
Need nap.
hugs all round,

Obviously, this is not from the QAL, although that top is done, I will try to remember to take a picture in the daylight, or when I quilt it. This here is a wallhanging that I made from 2.5" squares this past January. I love pixel quilts, I would like to try a difficult one some time, but can't decide on a design.

Leesewzany, I love that pixel quilt! I am amazed at how much we can do with these little candy squares

This is exactly how I do mine. Past years I've put them inside the card and wrapped them once with Saran Wrap. Yesterday I went crazy and put them on a half sheet of paper then slipped them in a bread/food sack. I got two covered per sack. I sewed around the open edge and trimmed it down. They'll fit right inside my card. I mailed the three April cards which all went out at .71. And I bought a sheet of .71 stamps to go home with me. Now I'm ready for the next 20 Bdays!

Jaba, they were super simple. I think I'll make a templet and either share the pdf or slip in all y'alls bday card. Even the center was a 2.5" circle. I think I'll make a wall hanging. I really love dresdens. And I'm HAPPY my candy works with them!

Sunrise glad the envelope arrived, did you have to pay more postage on it? Sewbizgirl did so I would like to know and ask my postmaster what happened on this end. He did weigh them but must have forgot to add something??? Maybe crispyfrog's added too much
No problem jaba. Their was a bit due but my mailman delivered it anyway and didn't charge us!
