And she is right ...postage is going down! I guess the last hike was an "emergency"raise because of the recession. Now they have made their money back that they needed so the government is making them lower it back down to .47......don't spend it all in one place

Wholeheart Mom...what a lovely quilt. How nice that you were able to use fabric that you already had on hand!

WMUTeach...hope you had fun at your quilt weekend. I need one of those ....my to do pile is growing and growing!

The craft show was nearly a bust. It was not properly promoted so therefore a waste of everyone's time and effort. Hardly anyone came through the door to shop! Still, I managed to sell one ragg quilt and one of my "lovey" blankets. Then, when I got home, one of the bags I had at the show got sold out of my Etsy shop. So, at least my expenses were covered. But, this time I tried selling the fabrics I have on bolts (I buy wholesale) plus a bunch of flat folds, so that was a lot of really heavy loads to lug in and out. I feel like I've been weightlifting today.
So, I had my crocheted loveys, all my quilts, sewn stuff such as bibs and some bags, and all that fabric. Could have been a great day had the people been there.
Still, I had fun. I bought a small oil painting by a sweet older man. I'm so glad to have something original by someone I actually met. It's a pretty still life for my kitchen.Here are some photos from today's show:

sewbizgirl, Thanks for all the pictures! Looks so professional. I knew you sold but just didn't know you were this big. From what I see, I love it all! If I lived closer I would be one of your best customers!
