Had a nice visit with Mariposa in greater Tulsa last Friday. We shop hopped, hit a garage sale with a cabinet sewing machine (did not buy), and had a light lunch at my house where we scoped out my work space. Flowers were in bloom all over town & it felt like spring was finally here.

I'm going to get my chance to meet DJ on the 26th, hopefully. She and her hubby are passing through my area and we hope to meet for a late lunch!

How much fun to get together with someone from the swap. Looks like you two had a lot of fun. If anyone ever gets to the Twin City area give me a shout. Would love to get together with another B-day swap participant.

Happy birthday showbizgirl!!!!!! I hope you Enjoy your quilting trip. If you take pics we want to see them. One of these years I plan to get there. I hear it's a fun adventure.
I have my 40 16-sq blocks completed. I ran into a snag, I missed placed my other fabric I cut out for the other 40 blocks. I will re-look this weekend. I plan to do the virtue quilt along this weekend. So if I find the fabric, it will get done.
I also sent 3 quilt tops to a long arm quilter. I figure a month or so to get them back. Can hardly wait.

Yes, this weekend is a VQW on the board (Virtual Quilting Weekend) so will look for your progress on your quilt project. Hope you find the fabric you have misplaced.
I will be at a Quiltathon day Saturday, sewing Christmas quilts with my charity group. The leader decided she wanted to donate ALL of her Christmas fabric and let us each sew a Christmas quilt or two to give to patients in the hospital over the Christmas holiday. What a great idea, isn't it? This lady (our leader) is close to 90 years old and she still is coming up with one fun idea after another to keep us motivated and to help us be a blessing to others. She was a pastor's wife and is still a great leader.
We were laughing so much, it was hard to get a pic!

I am the shorter chick on the right. Mariposa, now the peonies are in bloom, sorry you missed them. The dogwood is fantastic this week, especially the pink ones, wow!
