Welcome our new swappers! I just had my birthday yesterday and today my two little granddaughters helped me open all my cards. They had quite fun putting all my candies in a pretty bag. In the morning I'll spread them out and show you!
I had thought about skipping this year as some ladies are. But, well, obviously, I didn't.... I had also hosted a candy swap about four per year for a few years now. As part of that we exchanged a small amount of batik candy. I used mine as my leader/enders during my recent Bonnie Hunter mystery. I'll try to show that progress as well. It really is fun to get all these cards on your birthday. I'm glad I'm still in for 2016!

Hey bday swappers. Looks like there's room for a repeat offender. I've been out of commission since the first swap but I'm back for more. Nope, haven't done anything with the ones I've collected, but who's counting?!?

Welcome back, Fraew. Your pretty avatar looks like candy squares, or are they bigger? I used up a whole bunch of my pink, green and neutral candies making one of those Scrappy Swoon quilts. It was fun to make.

Hi dj and sewbizgirl! It's great to see you all...from Allietare, UFO challenge and others.
My avatar was a lot of fun to make, but it is a mini. I used 1.5" squares from Mariposa's swaps...and didn't make a dent in that stash.
I haven't kept up with this swap the last 2 rounds, but do you all challenge one another to make something with the birthday candy? Like a quilt along or similar? I have oodles of candy wanting to be something but theydontknowwhat. He he
