SheriR congrats on your daughters engagement! That is very exciting! Have they set a date yet? How did dress shopping go? Such fun!
Thanks for getting us started on our new QAL....I am so excited about this project. I have always loved the look of a Dresden Plate Quilt. I am pretty sure this is SheriR original pattern. So kudos to you Sheri!!!!
So how many are going to join the QAL???? I am planning on making a wall hanging with mine but it is going to be 2 rows of 3. And if it is really hard I will be making a mug rug and start to drink coffee. ( i have never tasted a cup of coffee)

Thanks Barb, and all of you well wishers! They've chosen August 20 as THE day!! We're trying on dresses this Saturday. She's scheduled appointments at a couple of stores. Her aunt and cousin are driving down from Idaho, and of course, her future MotherInLaw will be there (Who she seems to get along well with) I told her a bit ago that if she ended up being best friends with her MotherInLaw I couldn't think of anything better. I have fond memories of mine.
I'm happy to see some of you wanting to do a Candy Dresden, wall hanging or mug rug. Though (miss barb) I don't think it requires coffee drinking. (Hot cocoa FTW!!!) I've never tasted it either. In fact I gave up soda for 2016 even. I've not had a soda since December!

Cute projects, SheriR! Your quilting is terrific on these! I'm excited! These will be fun to see what folks create--so many colors. The yoyo's are a great idea for the centers! I gotta go find my candy squares.....
