Judith - I looked at embroidery machines a couple of months ago but decided to wait on purchasing. My next purchase is a long-arm but going to wait until we move. I got green light from DH and he said I could have whatever a I wanted so now I'm researching LA. But embroidery machine is on my list too.

Red - I'm with you on time constraints. It's why I focused on making swap blocks right away. I am preparing to move to Idaho this summer and the organizing for that is overwhelming. We have moved once in our marriage and we have been here 29 years so it's a lot to go thru. Than the cleaning needed for showing house...yikes... I'm a bit overwhelmed for sure.

Judith I'll be a "lurker" this time as I hope to be traveling more this year & also have projects backed up. Things are off to a great start, I see...(the kite is not boring Teen).
Your block is so pretty, and so is the watering can!

k-roll you will be missed on the swap. But, I am glad you are getting around more.
Here is the last block girls. I hope you like it. It has some glittery fabric, so the flash washed it out some. I have the labels on, so that makes it a little whompy on one side. Oh well, here it is.

Fabulous patriotic block, Red. I love it...all of your blocks are so creative and colorful. Well done, girl! Cannot wait to see more from the others, too..... So far, the blocks are wonderful!

Please forgive me, but I'm so far behind on many life challenges that I must withdraw from this swap.
Thanks for understanding. May lurk when time permits. Y'all have fun!
    hugs,
    dj

Completely understandable, djmat. We all need to know when to say "when" and not over extend.

Oh my goodness ladies, I can't believe how productive you all are. Those blocks are all fantastic. Looks like summer is starting to roll in.

DJ, no problem. You will be missed. But, drop in anytime and enjoy the blocks that are being posted. Hope to see you in future swaps if time permits.

Maxie, I don't think DJ withdrew from your swap. I think she officially withdrew from the summertime block swap. You might want to confirm by pm.
