These are so pretty....love the fruit and bumblebee fabric. Definitely summertime. I dislike Ohio star blocks for this very thing. I've learned to use scant 1/4 inch with this block....

Lovely blocks, have4boys! I really like the fruit fabric. Yea, those hourglass units sure are tricky to get right in Ohio Stars! Don't worry if you need to add a small border... Ive been there and done that, so I totally understand!

Oh my goodness there are some amazing blocks in this swap ladies! You are all so inspiring!!!!!
I finally finished up my Churn Dash Swap so now I can concentrate on getting my mind on these blocks. I have been shopping for fabrics and am excited to come up with some blocks that will match your talent on here!

Hope you start to feel better soon, buddy's mom! We have been lucky and so far (fingers crossed!) we have been spared these nasty winter flus.

Texastam, we will be watching to see what you make us

I'm working on my fourth set and hope to have a picture of the first block by tomorrow. It is pieced and it has over 50 pieces in it! Good thing we have until March, right!

Waving to Texastam!!!!! Can't wait to see your creations!

buddysmom.....ugh! I'm so sorry you are sick. I've tried to avoid going anywhere to limit exposure but, tomorrow, I am Road to Calif and I'm a bit paranoid. I'm thinking of wearing something over my nose/mouth. My DH's welding helmet may not be the best route..lol! Feel better soon!

This was the "trial block" for my fourth set. It turned out to be a precise 12.5" ... Much better than I had dared hope! Actually the cutting took almost as long as the stitching. I'll be making four more to swap out. Hopefully in the next ones the points match up better.

NZQuilter-OMG that is soooooo cute!!!!!! I hope I get one of those blocks.

Buddys mom-I hope you get to feeling better soon, that is no fun at all. I have Lupus and Rhuematoid Arthritis and I catch everything I hate it. I am fighting a respiratory infection right now, but I made myself some elderberry syrup and hope it kicks in.

    Teen-waving back at you!

I started to get the flu and my hubby went to the store and got the nasal spray zicam. I felt like I have sniffed pepper spray when I took it, but, I will be darn if it didn't work. Within an hour I was normal again. No side effects or anything. Amazing stuff! Get well soon buddysmom. I hate being sick, it sucks big time.

I love your newest block nzquilter! I hope to get one too.
