I’m really enjoying listening to all the ideas. I’ve decided to bow out of this swap. I had all these ideas but I hate to make more than one of each block since My favorite part is designing each block. I will be lurking and watching the amazing blocks that come out of this swap.

I don't have a problem with you making 20 different blocks, wow, because that's what you'll get back! But check with our host to verify. I certainly hope you will join! The more swappers, the merrier!

For each one you trade it's a good idea to make one for you to keep. I always keep my "audition" blocks to go with the ones I get so my quilt will be bigger.

NZquilter, a sandcastle sounds excellent. Love that idea.

the directions indicate the blocks should be the same but thanks for the encouraging comment.

Wow that is a cute block and a great start to the swap. I baked cookies today with my friend patty and made candy with another friend a couple days ago. Tomorrow it is shopping with another friend and next sunday is a family party at my sis's. I guess you can tell, I have been too busy to sew. :~(.

kwyltaholic, welcome to the swap. Will look forward to see what your working on in the New Year.

Red, that sounds great!! If I had any family close, that would be what I would do as well. I hope your outings are lovely and joyous.
