Good luck on your move. Just try to keep your expectations lower and try to roll with whatever comes your way. My DH moves household furniture for a living. Truly, it is about your movers whether you have a good experience or not. Unfortunately, the market is flooded with inexperienced movers. My husband is in for at least 30 plus years. My son, 20 plus years. Your move is only as good as your movers. Bare in mind the new laws that are in place now for how many hours a day you can work and drive. It sets the schedule from here on out.

If your are moving yourself....Most people I know have used Penske. They say the prices are better.

Here is my second block. 6 1/2 “. The picture doesn’t include the whole block. There’s a 1/4 “ space between points and edge
I'm going to try to get at least two more blocks done. This is fun. .

Cute block mjp!
I am sending off my blocks by the mailman tomorrow, judith. I printed off the labels and prepaired a return envelope. Funny, all I had were janis Joplin fifty cent stamps, but there was enough to make the postage amount. LOL! PEace sister!
He doesn't come until late, but at least it will be on the way.
I will pm you the conf. numbers, okay? Thanks for hosting, I know how much work this is.

Sandy

Darcyshannon...I will be facing the same concerns you are when I move later this year. We are planning on making several trips ourselves hauling our most coveted stuff...and we have farm equipment, Harley, Jeep, my car, hubbies truck too. We are taking our RV to Idaho in April and leaving it there in our new workshop (they just finished this last week)...it's a huge building so we are going to fill up the RV with stuff too. As much as I've gotten rid of stuff, we have a lot to move. Ugh! Most stressful.

NZ...from New Zealand to US? OMGosh! I need to quit stressing over a 1,000 mile move. I can't imagine moving from another country. Yikes!

Judith....I'd like to hire your husband and son, please!!! Thanks for the tips..

Mjp....awesome block.....so colorful!

Yea, Red!!! Peace & Love, man! Lol!

buddysmom....that would be a tough decision to make; however, you have to take care of you, first, before you can be of help to someone else. If she's alone, perhaps she can move closer so you can help her better. Still...so hard to be so far from her, I'm sure.

Texastam and Red, I will keep an eye out for your blocks and let you know when I receive them.

mjp, pretty block.

There is still plenty of time to make and mail blocks ladies. I know I have to take a bit of time from these blocks to finish up blocks for a different swap here on the QB. They have to be in by the end of February. And, then I will finish up the blocks for this swap.

I am enjoying all your pretty blocks and appreciate you posting photos and inspiring us all with them.

Texastam, your 4 sets arrived today. (Along with envelope and stamps.) They are cheery and summery. Thanks for coming along for the ride.

Oh goodness, buddysmom....that sounds very scary for her. Lifting up prayers for your daughter, buddysmom. Maybe this year will be her year to conquer this. Hugs!
