I caught myself a head cold! Ugh! Haven't sewn in 2 days and it's killing me. I have one block done I need to share and will try to do that today if I can quit seeing double...lol!

Judith, I really like your fussy cut center! I remember making plastic Walmart bags tied on a string of yarn into kites as a kid; it was a fun summer activity! But it might have been funner if I had had a real kit

Thank you ladies. They are 9 1/2" and my first attempt at paper piecing. Chose a more simplistic pattern to start with. They were fun. Have 3 more blocks I'm gonna try.... 1 is another paper piecing, one appliqué, and the other a curved piecing idea. These will likely be 12 1/2".... Not sure..we'll see what happens. HA!
