Well, I dug out this unfinished paper pieced Compass Rose (Judy Niemeyer class) and decided to finish it. I hate, hate paper piecing so this will be my first and last attempt. I am now quilting it and just flying by the seat of my pants......doing some straight stitch and am now ready to try some free motion on it, stippling since I can do that, maybe try something else too.

anyway, I'm hoping when I am done it looks okay.

Thanks Teen, you are sweet! I have points that don't match but you can't see them in the pic I guess. Who ever gets this will get the pattern, too. Haha!

and my cut out pieces for 2 more of these so they can give it a try. I think I may be too impatient or something but it's not fun for me at all. At least I can say I tried....

Yes the mailing date Oct 31 is coming up real soon! You still have 2 weeks and we all know if you haven't started our swappers are so talented that making a wh in 2 weeks is no big deal!! LOL
