    Hello everyone

Hope everyone is enjoying fall. Michigan is one of the loveliest places to enjoy fall with the leaves changing and the cool evening and plenty to do if you are not raking the leaves. (not me anymore I live in a condo)

Last Friday we adopted a 3 year old dog... her name is Gigi and she is adorable. Her previous mom is in hospice so Gigi needed a new mom and a place to live. She is adjusting well, never lived with a man before so barking at my husband's every move was most of our weekend. She is starting to like him now. (good thing, he is probably too old to re-home). Next she needs to meet the grandchildren to see how that goes. If all goes well we will get to keep her. We already love her so much and she is really attached to me. My little shadow.

You'll be in my thoughts as you go through the surgery and recovery. Hugs...

Tee-Hee-Hee. I have done two and now don't know what to do with them. The process of the on point blocks and triangles to square up the rows was just what I needed to beat off the fear of on point setting. Look at them fondly but am waiting to give them to good homes. Janice we are waiting to see your version of the Zig-Zag!

Well we have all experienced slow downs and stumbles so we are forgiving folk. You health is much more important than the arrival of little treats. Please keep in contact as you wade through recovery and return to your life loves and passions.

I will pray the doctors are skilled, your healing is swift and that stress and worry will disappear.

It’s wonky but it’s a progress pic through last wknd.

All the remaining pieces are cut but I’ve got those half background/half square pieces yet to assemble. Should finish that up this coming weekend at the cabin. This is not the final version. Lots of rearranging must happen first. It’s definitely bigger than i thought it would be. That’s good!

GramE, it “should” be 51x68 according to notes from last year. We’ll see how close I get to it. This is last year’s mystery for this group. I wished I’d used more medium colors. Too many dark in some units but it’ll get finished in the coming cabin weekends. I'm trying to finish pieces instead of making new ones.

Janice McC, I admire your dark colors in your Zig-Zag quilt.
