Hi ladies, I made a top with half of my blocks and a couple I made. I will make another top with the other half and a couple more that I made. This one is 58x58. I think I will have it as a wall hanging for my basement.

Here's my second quilt with the remainder blocks. I'm not sure which setting to use. I am planning a quilt as you go method. The first picture would be if I sewn them together as one panel. The second picture is if I had a tan sashing in between. I'm using my carpet to represent the tan sashing. Which one would you ladies go for? I d not have anymore of the floral print.

Barbie, Congrats on turning your blocks into quilts already. I love the second with the tan sashing. But, if you do the QAYG method, your sashing can be the tan. Or the backing that comes to the front can be tan. It just depends on which method you use for QAYG. (My vote is for the tan sashing showing. It lets the blocks shine.) You did an awesome job on your first quilt. It looks great with the panel as the center.

Thank you for showing off your beauties.

Barbie -- super nice job on the first quilt! I love seeing my blocks out there being used. I agree with Judith about the tan sashing, either would be nice but the tan causes your eye to rest and admire each block.

Queen, I like the tan sashing. Like others have said it makes the individual blocks shine as unique to themselves.
