Macybaby, I started making my pieced blocks for Jaba and was just so proud of myself! T H E N when I went to place next to the quilt, I remembered, "Oh, I have size restrictions!!!" I am going to be a 1 inch too big. Will that be ok for your round?

    Mona, I like bee hives!

Travelinggramma, I can't wait. Motto? hummmmm

Got some cutting done today, I hope to finish the cutting by the weekend.
The blue I pulled looks really dark in the photo but it is the same color as the blue in the center.

It looks like somebody is going to get some honeycomb! If you don’t like Y seams, are you planning to appliqué these?

Mona love the honey comb and colors! Thank you! It is beeutiful!!!!

Carriem, yes but not enough!. I have been making BOOM blocks and had 12.5 inches on the brain!!!! Thus my paper pieced block is 8.5! Where was my brain??? So the math of it, will allow me to use your extra inches and that adds up to 7.5 inches. Making me 1 inch over.

When it rains it pours! Wow, a bunch of posts suddenly! Who was saying we were quiet for days? :-)

SBG, your scale looks perfect, the pieces are not too big, not too small for the round-- great balance for the overall look of the top. I thought I was going crazy with y-seams on the previous round-- but look at you go, girl!!

Mona, can't wait to see those hexies! What an appropriate choice for that quilt!

Thank you, Givio. I’m getting good at Y seams after so many! Those triangles are practically setting themselves...

I love Iceblossom’s quilt. Speaking of Iceblossom, where has she been lately? Did she go on her trip with her husband?
