I continue to be amazed at the beauty of each round that is added to all the quilts. Any of these quilts could have a pattern written for them and they would sell like hotcakes. I feel like I have been to a training academy for how the best of the quilters create beautiful works of art. Kudos to all of you for the wonderful creations!

Carriem, love the fabric. You did really well at the quilt shop!

Macybaby, Oh My Goodness. That is gorgeous! I love the scalloped effect. It could be a show quilt!

Macybaby, I am contemplating your final round. I need some direction.... mainly what color do you want added to this final round? I was thinking about pulling some yellow back in with a black print that includes bright colors? What do you think? Any requests?

    Thanks

I love how this quilt has turned out! Don't have a good place to get a full picture of it, so hopefully these will work.
    WOW!!! That is awesome.

Oh Macybaby, I just love that border!

This has been such a treat to watch the quilts grow and change.

If anyone from the thread (or knows anyone who would like to join), I'm looking for 9-patches to be sent to me, if I know they are coming I can hold on but otherwise plan on putting together the squares I receive next weekend.

And the hubby informs me that tomorrow is our 16th wedding anniversary, I'm the one terrible about remembering dates. We met on-line playing a game in February 2001, so our 20 year meeting anniversary is coming up. Don't remember the exact day, but I do remember that first meeting because he was a jerk with an unusual name... he doesn't remember because he was just being himself! I was already 40 with a 13 year old son, one of my jokes is that it took a lot of toads before I found my Todd, but I just adore him. Even if sometimes he interferes with my quilting time, he is immensely supportive of me in all ways.

Congrats on the upcoming anniversary Iceblossom! I forgot about mine this year, and at the start of October I was reminding my husband it was DD's birthday the end of the month. Then I remembered our anniversary was also in October - the next day! This was our 41st, so we've been together for some time. We got engaged our senior year in High School.

Bug, I'd love for you to pull some of the other colors out. I went with a colorful center hoping for a lot of color, and currently there is a lot of blue so pulling a bit more of the other colors out would be great. So far I've loved all of your rounds, so I don't expect I'll feel differently about this one.

BTW - Jaba's top is suppose to be delivered today.

I'm planning on doing some painting and re-arranging in my sewing studio this weekend, then I'll be getting back to sewing!

Macybaby, the final round is awesome, and Carriem love the fabric selection as well. Thanks Givio for the avatar tip, I've been frustrated because I thought it was the profile pic, I've tried multiple times and gave up. Finally I have the quilt displayed. Macybaby, I also enjoyed seeing the antique sewing machine display, it looks fantastic. I am literally looking at shelving this month to start my display and seeing yours is seeing a thing of beauty. Thanks for posting that in the background. ❤

I've attached the revised borders for Mary's compass quilt, since her grandson is going to be the happy recipient, I took off the yellow border and changed it to a deeper yellow since the prior yellow wasn't vibrant enough IMHO, so there are two new sides. I also chose a deeper purple for the purple spelling correction border, (apologies Trisha, so happy I was corrected in time) since it will be going to a boy. So now the colors are much deeper and saturated. I got it done about an hour ago and I'm off to the post office in the nick of time with 9-patches for Iceblossom as well.

My "Todd" was located on November 2, nearly 7 years ago. He has a saying "second is best." And we met on 11-2. Funny how the universe will make the joke out of a synchronicity. Congrats & happy anniversaries, I feel your joy and gratitude ;-)

    Hugs all!
