Gajin, Bad dog, bad dog! Tee-Hee-Hee. Reminds me of a book my children read long ago called "The Dog Ate My Homework" Now you can write one about the dog ate my birthday treats. .

Irish Mom , congrats on daughters engagement. Depending on your daughter, unless they ask for your advice, just have the checkbook ready. LoL. Mine would change her mine, like you change your clothes. She knew what she wanted and I had to just keep it within budget. True story, gave her a budget for the dress, we went shopping, she pick a dress, put the deposit down. We were in separate cars, so not even 10 mins driving away, she calls and ask if I really liked the dress. Needless to say, she called and cancelled the dress before the end of day. Just have patience and enjoy the journey.

Thanks Gannyrosie - true words of wisdom. We had the big budget talk last night and my husband explained a WOAH doesn't mean we don't like it or even that we think it's too costly; it's just let us think and talk about it. My daughter was "you are the ones who will keep me in line! I am depending on that!" haha Actually she is very reasonable (at least now) and is just in sticker shock instead of "I must have that all costs" shock. Today we are looking at a few venues.

WMUTeach, our signs of spring =. Grass is green, trees have blooms and starting to have leaves, flower bulbs are blooming, lawns are being mowed and farmers are starting to work the fields. Spring temperatures 34-80’s. Transition weather with more showery precipitation. I planted my seeds for my container gardens last week. Local forecaster said freezing temperatures are over for this part of the year. Yea.

I received my BD list for this month. Expect to mail in the next few days. Have a great week everyone.
