Great quilt sewbizgirl! Glad to meet you Gannyrosie! WMUteach, lovely block. NZ, I love how you already knew about this pattern! Loveofquilts, I am making some mug rugs so I can practice various machine quilting styles. I have pieced forever but now it is time to actually quilt or I will have flimsy's forever. Starting small on my domestic seems like a wise move for the perfectionist in me.

Oh! I made that quilt for my husband a couple of years ago. Didn't use a pattern tho. It's easy enough to make just from the picture.

Only 8 days left to sign up for this swap! Hope some lurkers who are sitting on the fence will decide to join us. It's a very fun swap and easy to do. I'm cutting new 2.5"s to swap today. It's always more fun with more people in the swap.

I am sorry to hear about all the swappers who can't be with us this year.
Thanks for the happy welcomes. You got me all excited. I am going to start cutting now!

Welcome Crispy! I'm cutting now too.

Wouldn't it be lovely if we could get up to 20 swappers... or more? Tell your friends!

I'm cutting today too! I started last week but had to set it aside. My bulk birthday cards I ordered are scheduled to arrive tomorrow. I'm looking forward to getting our first birthday names for the year!

Thanks for letting me get back in the game, its been several years that I've participated. We were blessed with our 1 and only grand daughter 4 years ago, and this granny started sewing for her, though now she's more into pants and shirts, so back to my quiltiing.
This actually will be my 3rd time participating in this swap. Last one may have been back in 2017 or 18. I love doing scrappy quilts more than anything. It challenges my mind verses a repetitive block, which is predetermined. The hexie quilt is from many previous swaps and is still being hand quilted (LOL) , hands get tired and I get tired of the repetiveness. The postage stamp I just finished the other day.
Hoping to start a new Hexie with swap blocks again.
though I'm not a big converser on here , I do read all the comments and will comment if I have something to say.
